Friday, Nov. 10
Georgetown ISD celebrates veterans
More than a dozen Georgetown ISD schools will be honoring people who have served in the U.S. armed forces on Friday. Veterans and active-duty military members in our community are invited to join the events. Find locations and times on the district’s website.

Saturday, Nov. 11
Market Day on the Square
Attendees can browse the booths for arts and crafts, jewelry, clothing, ironworks and foods while listening to live music. Market Days happen each second Saturday of each month between March and November. At this particular market, the city will sell old historic downtown street signs that were replaced several weeks ago. Veterans Day Ceremony at Sun City
The Sun City Texas Community Association will host an hourlong ceremony to honor veterans Saturday. The event includes music, service recognition and guest speakers. 11 a.m. Free. Williamson County Veteran's Memorial Plaza, 2 Texas Drive, Georgetown. 512-948-7700

Sweet Eats Fruit Farm Fall Festival & Pumpkin Patch
Celebrate fall at the festival, complete with pony rides, a petting zoo, a hay maze, bounce house, face painting and an obstacle course. There will also be a large pumpkin patch, hayrides, live music, local food trucks and adult beverages for sale. The festival will continue on weekends until the Nov. 19 weekend. 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Free (age 2 and younger), $10 (adults), $12 (children). Sweet Eats, 14400 E. Hwy. 29, Georgetown. www.sweeteats.com

Field of Honor
More than 1,500 U.S. flags will be displayed in San Gabriel Park to pay tribute to veterans, military service members and first responders during the week of Veterans Day. Flags to be used for the display can be purchased online for $40. The display is presented by the Rotary Club of Georgetown. 2 p.m. (opening ceremony). Event continues daily until Nov 12. Free.
