Teri Road from I-35 to Nuckols Crossing Road is being evaluated for improvements by the city of Austin to enhance safety and mobility. Changes have been proposed by the transportation department to calm traffic speeds by adjusting the geometry of the roadway, improving pedestrian crosswalks by reducing crossing distance and enhancing bicycle safety by adding buffered bike lanes. In partnership with Capital Metro, four additional bus stops may also be built along the road. Timeline: pending public process, project will begin in mid- to late 2018 Cost: TBD Funding source: TBD
