Ongoing projects

  1. The city of Friendswood is converting the stretch of Woodlawn Drive from West Shadowbend Avenue to FM 2351 from asphalt to concrete paving. The project is in the construction phase. Overall construction cost is $569,000 and is paid for through the 2013 city bond. The project is due to be completed in November.

    2. The city of Pearland is funding the Hatfield Road paving project. As the project was just approved at the Pearland City Council meeting on Sept. 18, the city is organizing a preconstruction meeting. The construction cost of the project will be decided at the meeting. The portion of the road that will be paved is 1.85 miles long. Paving improvements will take place on Hatfield Road from Tyler Street to Brookside Village city limits and on Jasper Road from Hatfield Road to West Broadway Street.
