The city of Pflugerville is hosting an open house meeting on its Windermere Drive and Heatherwilde Boulevard road projects Oct. 19 from 5:30-7 p.m. at the Windermere Clubhouse, located at 16800 Gower St.

Reconstruction efforts are planned for January. Throughout the project, various driveway and home access points will be impacted with neighborhood street closures ongoing, according to the city.

Streets that will be affected include:

  • Cactus Blossom Drive

  • Columbine Street

  • Ardisia Drive

  • Simsbrook Drive

  • Dashwood Creek Drive

  • Blackthorn Drive

  • Thackeray Lane

  • Gravesbend Road

  • Isle of Man Road

  • Isle of Man Court

  • Gower Street

  • Langland Road


The project will require an investment of $5 million to repair curbs, sidewalks and roadways on the 2 1/2 miles of roadway.

The open house event will allow residents to ask questions and converse about the impact the project will have. More information on the project will be posted here by the city.
