Monday
Sugar Land Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone 4 Meeting

TIRZ 4 board members will meet and vote to amend the fiscal year 2017 budget and adopt the proposed 2018 budget. For FY 2018, the zone’s budgeted revenue is $718,295 and budgeted expenditures is $100,500. 2700 Town Center Blvd., Sugar Land. 4 p.m.

Monday
Sugar Land Annexation Open House

City officials are hosting an open house event for residents of Greatwood and New Territory to discuss municipal issues, the city’s funds, its capital improvement program, and the operation of city departments and offices among other topics. 2700 Town Center Blvd. N., Sugar Land. 6 p.m.

Tuesday
Sugar Land City Council Workshop

City staff will talk about FY 2018 budget modifications to reflect reduced sales tax and property tax revenues and other budget-related items. 2700 Town Center Blvd N., Sugar Land. 1 p.m.

Thursday
Sugar Land Planning & Zoning Meeting

Two public hearings will take place regarding the placement of a Murphy Express gas station at University Boulevard and U.S. Hwy. 90 and the placement of a new retail building near residential property along Eldridge Road. 2700 Town Center Blvd. N., Sugar Land. 6:30 p.m.

Thursday
Missouri City Senior Foodies

Seniors age 50+ can socialize with friends and enjoy a delicious meal at a local restaurant. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP and will meet at the designated restaurant, Panda Garden. 3563 Hwy. 6, Sugar Land. 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
