Sept. 18: Jersey Village City Council to adopt budget at monthly meeting


The Jersey Village City Council is set to adopt its 2017-18 budget following a public hearing and a presentation from city manager Austin Bleess. Sept. 22 (tentative): Lululemon Athletica opens first Houston area store at Houston Premium Outlets


The athletic apparel store—which specializes in yoga, running and training gear—is opening at the Houston Premium Outlets. Store officials said the grand opening is likely to take place on Friday, but advised shoppers to look out for a confirmation on Facebook, as well as additional details about the grand opening event. The 3,802-square-foot store will be located next to Perry Ellis and across from Fossil. 10 a.m.-noon. Free.
