George Bush Intercontinental Airport and William P. Hobby Airport resumed limited domestic flights this afternoon, according to a statement issued on the Houston Airports website. The airports are expected to return to full service by this weekend, according to the statement. Passengers are encouraged to contact their air carrier for specific flight status updates and, because many roads are still unsafe, should ensure they have plenty of time to reach the airports. “Only those with a ticket for a confirmed scheduled flight should come to the airport,” the statement read.
