August 21: Jersey Village City Council meeting
City Council will receive the Long-Term Flood Recovery Plan from Dannenbaum Engineering Corp. and discuss the next steps to implement projects, including a proposed $2 million project in the 2017-18 city budget. August 22: The Nest holds monthly meeting

To raise funds for Dream Catcher’s Stables, which provides equestrian therapy for special needs children, San Jacinto High Rollers Motorcycle Club is hosting an iron horse motorcycle race. LuLaRoe Fashion Mamas are opening four houses and 10 retailers with fashion items and clothing for shoppers to view, try on and purchase.
