Paige Collier will serve as the new principal at Reed Elementary School, Leander ISD Superintendent Dan Troxell announced Friday.
“Ms. Collier is an experienced campus leader who has demonstrated success with dual language communities,” Troxell said in a statement. “I’m confident she will build upon the special school culture and further strengthen systems to ensure excellent learning experiences for all Reed [Elementary School] students.”
Collier comes from Hays CISD, where she served as an elementary principal since 2009. Previously, she worked as an assistant principal, instructional specialist, reading specialist and first grade teacher.
“I am excited to join Leander ISD and build relationships with the students, families and staff at Reed Elementary,” Collier said in a statement. “As principal, I want to ensure that each child learns in a nurturing environment from collaborative and talented staff. I envision our school as a place where students thrive, lead and care for one another. I look forward to enthusiastically serving the Reed Roadrunners.”
Collier earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a master’s degree from Texas State University in San Marcos. She is working toward her doctoral degree from Texas State University.
