2. Explore Texas wine with the Bob Bullock Museum
Join the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum for a night of Texas wine, along with trivia, games, music and food.
Texas Monthly columnist Jessica Dupuy will walk guests through the history of the Texas wine industry while tasting the best wines to drink during the summer.

FRIDAY
3. Celebrate RAS Day with the band that inspired the Austin holiday
Riders Against the Storm celebrate RAS Day this weekend at venues around the city. The festival kicks off Friday at Empire Control Room. Other artists performing include PJ Morton, Raul Midon, Jackie Venson and Ayuma.

4. Learn how to brew with John Palmer
John Palmer, author of
How to Brew, a book about making quality beers at home, will be in Austin on Friday and Saturday for book signings of the 4th edition of his book. On Friday, he'll be signing books at Celis Brewery. He'll also be at Austin Homebrew Supply on Saturday at 6 p.m.

4. Enjoy art indoors at 4th Tap Brewing Co-Op

5. Attend the grand opening of Hidden Treasures
The new vintage store opens in Anderson Mill this week and will celebrate its grand opening all day Saturday. Refreshments will be served and prizes will be available to customers who stop by. 7. Bring your pet to the Austin Pet Expo
