Several lane closures in the Tomball and Magnolia areas have been announced by the Texas Department of Transportation and the Houston TranStar
database. Here's where drivers can expect delays this week.
1. One outside lane of
Hwy. 249 northbound from Zion Road to the Sentinel Oaks subdivision in Tomball is closed daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 7, to Friday, Aug. 11.
2. One outside lane of
Hwy. 249 southbound at Zion Road is closed daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 7, to Friday, Aug. 11.
3. The middle lane of
Hwy. 249 northbound and southbound between Brown and Zion roads in Tomball is closed daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 7, to Wednesday, Aug. 9.
4. One eastbound and one westbound lane on
FM 2920 between Mahaffey Road and North Willow Street in Tomball are closed daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 7, to Friday, Aug. 11.
5. FM 1488 eastbound and westbound from
FM 1774 to Alford Road in Magnolia is closed daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday, Aug. 18. One alternate lane is available to drivers.
