Ten local companies have been selected to potentially carry the title of the most "uniquely Austin" business.

The Austin Chamber of Commerce on July 27 revealed its list of finalists for its Most Uniquely Austin award, and it wants the community to pick the winner.

The finalists are:

  • Atlassian

  • The Austin Blues Revue

  • Bike Austin

  • Capsa Ventures

  • Chameleon Cold-Brew

  • Health Alliance for Austin Musicians

  • Jackrabbit Mobile

  • Lammes Candies

  • Silicon Labs

  • Terra Toys


Community members can read a description of each business and cast their vote here.

According to a news release, the winner will be a company that "embraces Austin’s unique culture and exemplifies what it means to live and do business in the Austin region."

The award is one of 11 categories in the chamber’s annual Greater Austin Business Awards program. Now in its 17th year, the program celebrates excellence in the local business community.

The finalists and winners for each category will be announced during an awards ceremony at the Austin Hilton hotel on Aug. 30 from 5:30-8:30 p.m.

The chamber also released names of all company award finalists selected by a panel of independent judges. Finalists and winners will be recognized in several categories, including Community Relations, Customer Service, Health and Wellness, Environmentally Friendly, Innovation, Executive Leadership, Global Impact, Nonprofit, First-Time Entrepreneur and Company Culture.
