A local water park offers specials for emergency and military personnel as well as a Friday night concert, a park hosts a free movie night and several venues offer wine and entertainment specials this weekend.

Thursday


Wet’N’Wild Splashtown concludes its Hero Week with special rates for military, police, firefighters, EMTs and medical professionals. Special rates are available with a coupon that can be obtained on the park’s Special Events page on its website and with identification. Friday is Christian Youth Day at the park, with the band I Am They performing on the Wave Pool concert stage. 10 a.m.-8 p.m. (Thu.-Fri.) $25.99 (discounted admission with ID), $32.99-$45.99 (regular admission).
