A positive West Nile Virus sample was found in the 1800 block of Hall-Johnson Road.

Due to a July 5 mosquito sample testing positive for carrying the West Nile Virus in the 1800 block of Hall-Johnson Road in Grapevine, the area will be sprayed within a half-mile radius on three consecutive nights.

Spraying will take place Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 10 p.m.

According to city officials, residents in the area should avoid contact with the spray by staying indoors and keeping windows and doors closed during spraying. People inside a vehicle while trucks are actively spraying should remain in their vehicles with the windows up and the air conditioner on until the trucks pass and the spray is no longer visible.
