Concert in the Park series

The Pearland Parks and Recreation Department hosts Friday evening concerts at Southdown Park through the months of May and June. Leashed pets are welcome as well as alcohol in plastic containers only. 7-9 p.m. Free. 2150 Country Place Parkway, Pearland.

Mitch and Artha Wright Concerts in the Park series

Save-A-Life Saturday

Join Pearland Medical Center and the Pearland Fire Department and get hands-on CPR training at the Pearland Town Center. Educational material on cardiac wellness, early heart attack care and stroke prevention will be provided. Sound Advice Concert

Sound Advice will give a concert on Saturday to support the Rescue Pets Movement. The event is hosted by Mona Cabler and James Adams. The ticket charge covers the show and dinner, and attendees are welcome to bring their own alcohol. There will be a silent auction. 51 Gun Raffle

This Saturday, the Pearland Lions Club host a gun raffle along with a barbecue baked potato dinner, live music and 52 card raffles. Tickets can be purchased at the Pearland Animal Hospital, Silvercreek Dental, Warfield Electric and ADDI Printing. Tickets can also be purchased at the start of the event. 6 p.m. $25.
