Friday night fireworks

Back from a two-season hiatus, Grapevine’s Friday night lights return this Memorial Day weekend as part of the city’s ninth annual SummerBlast. The 11-minute fireworks show will light up the Texas night sky over Lake Grapevine every Friday from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. SummerFest 2017 kicks off at the Gaylord Texan

The family-friendly activities, themed after Lone Star Adventures, features a local artists art tour, firework shows, a Western comedy show, an escape room, gold panning, canvas painting, scavenger hunts, strolling entertainers, live music, a Build-A-Bear mobile workshop, spa specials and happy hours. Memorial Day event to be held at Veterans Memorial

Smiles Charity concert to feature Andy Grammer
