Fairfield Town Center celebrates a grand opening May 6

This Saturday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Fairfield Town Center retail and dining site will celebrate a grand opening at 28644 Hwy. 290, Cypress. The celebration includes bounce houses, face painting, a photo booth and food trucks. The event is free and will feature several giveaways collectively worth $10,000.

CyFair Warriors Rugby team goes to state championships May 6-7

The team ended the regular season with a record of 9-1. This weekend, the high schoolers will travel to the Austin Huns Rugby Complex at 4107 Nixon Lane, Austin, to compete for the state title Saturday at 11 a.m. Live streaming begins at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
