The signature drink at LT’s Sports Bar and Grill in Cypress is a frozen Long Island iced tea that owner Travis Lamberton said is perfect for Houston summers.
The concoction, which can be purchased for $7.95, is made with vodka, rum, gin, tequila, triple sec and a housemade lime mix, Lamberton said.
“It’s my own personal recipe, and as far as I know, we’re the only ones in town who have anything like this,” he said. “A lot of people get a kick out of the name.”
Lamberton opened the neighborhood sports bar with his wife, Lucy, in 2016. The bar gets its name from the owners’ initials.
LT’s also serves a variety of draft and bottle beer, wines and housemade cocktails. A full food menu offers high-end pub fare, including flatbreads, burgers, sandwiches and appetizers ranging from nachos to LT’s Texas Chili.
