The 80-acre Kickerillo-Mischer Preserve opened on Chasewood Park Drive on April 1, providing
1.7 miles of hike and bike trails as well as a 40-acre lake for recreation.
The land was donated to Harris County Precinct 4 in 2009 by Kickerillo Companies and Mischer Investments after the companies acquired the property from Hewlett-Packard to create The Vintage community, Harris County Precinct 4 Commissioner Jack Cagle said. The park will become part of the Cypress Creek Greenway trail system.
