Here's what road closures to expect for the Muddy Trails Bash on Saturday, April 1

The TWFG Muddy Trails Bash will occur April 1 in Creekside Park Village.

The TWFG Muddy Trails Bash will occur April 1 in Creekside Park Village.

Several road closures will occur in the Village of Creekside Park this Saturday during the 10th annual TWFG Muddy Tails Bash.

Road closures for the 5K, 10K and 1-mile kids run event include the following streets:

• Creekside Forest Drive from the roundabout to Great Heron Drive from 10 a.m.-9 p.m.

• Creekside Forest Drive from Great Heron to Lake Paloma Trail from 2-7 p.m.

Local officials encourage residents to use Creekside Green Drive for accessing and moving within the village.

Harris County constables will be in charge of closing and re-opening streets and police will to allow cars that need to get through closed areas, particularly at Aventura Place.

The race will last from 3-8 p.m. and is taking place on various trails in the George Mitchell Nature Preserve. For more information regarding traffic on race day, residents can call the traffic hotline at 281-210-2099.
