Fort Bend County Justice Center project underway A rendering features a proposed four-tier parking garage addition for the expansion.[/caption]

On Feb. 14, Fort Bend County Commissioners Court approved payments of invoices in connection with a Fort Bend County Justice Center expansion. The project includes a three-story, 100,000-square-foot addition and a separate parking garage.

“The project is starting in March and should finish up 18 months after that,” AGCM representative Marty Schmitt said. 

AGCM is contracted for project management.

Payment of $39,345.52 to PGAL was approved for services related to the justice center expansion.

Payment of $1.21 million to the Crain Group was approved for services regarding the Justice Center structured parking garage. 

According to the Crain Group, this addition will be a four-tier parking garage with 138,864 square feet of floor space.  There is a mid-March completion date for the garage.
