When Margarita Castellanos and her husband Javier opened ALEOLI Me Time Studio in June 2025, they set out for it to be a place for moms and women to unwind and take care of themselves.
The setup
ALEOLI Me Time Studio’s business model centers on parents—specifically moms—bringing their kids to a daycare facility while they relax at an on-site coffee shop or Pilates studio.
“We see a lot of places for dads like bars, pickleball, the many things that they can do, but so limited are the places that the mom can go enjoy their time,” Castellanos said.
What began as an idea from a college presentation, Castellanos envisioned ALEOLI only as a daycare and coffee shop, but eventually found it necessary to bring a wellness component to it.
The coffee shop also has a wide selection of health conscious coffee drinks, matcha and food.
Castellanos said she has around six nannies, 14 instructors and 13 baristas on staff to help the roughly 450 ALEOLI members.
The backstory
Originally from El Salvador, Castellanos was inspired to open ALEOLI while she was juggling her life as a parent with getting her degree in business and marketing.
“It was a hard time to balance my personal life from my family, from my kids,” she said. “To be a mom, a wife, a student and then be myself.”
