Planning and zoning meeting

The Plano Planning and Zoning Commission will meet Monday at 7 p.m. at 1520 K Ave., Plano. Monday’s agenda includes revised site plans for a Plano East Senior High School addition, site plans for a Blue Ridge Park addition and revised site plans for The Shops at Willow Bend. Dating Safety Class

The Plano Police Department is hosting a Dating Safety Class at Liberty Recreation Center, 2601 Glencliff Drive, Plano, from 7-9 p.m. The free class will cover many pitfalls surrounding dating, including common sense. The Plano Parks and Recreation Department asks attendees register prior to attending. Registration can be done online at www.planoparks.org or by phone at 972-769-4234.

City Council meeting

Plano City Council will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. at 1520 K Ave., Plano. At the meeting, City Council members will discuss rezoning 93.9 acres of land from corridor commercial use to planned development-21-corridor commercial use for the Legacy Central development. This rezoning would allow for multifamily residence, single-family residence and food truck park uses.

The piece of property in discussion is Plano’s former Texas Instruments campus, which is located at the southwest corner of US 75 and Legacy Drive. ‘Daphne Garden’

“Daphne Garden” tells the story of six strangers who assembled to pull off the perfect crime. The group thought there was no way their heist could fail, but after a police ambush the strangers came to learn more about each other than they bargained for. “Daphne Garden” will be performed at the ArtCentre Theatre, 5220 Village Creek Drive, Plano, Wednesday at 8 p.m. Tickets can be purchased on the theater’s website for $15.
