As if nine days of South by Southwest Conferences & Festivals events isn't enough, St. Patrick's Day falls on the last Friday of SXSW this year.

Here are some bars to visit to get your fix of live music, green beer and bagpipes:

1. B.D. Riley's Irish Pub & Restaurant

With a bar made by Irish hands and hailing from Dublin, B.D. Riley's is guaranteed not to disappoint. The Sixth Street venue will have live music all day starting at 9 a.m. and no cover entry.

2. Fado Irish Pub

Located on Fourth Street, Fado opens its doors at 6 a.m. Friday, and the live music begins at 10 a.m. Online ticket sales have ended, but tickets are available at the door and are available based on capacity.

3. Jack & Ginger's Irish Pub

The Rock Rose pub is blocking off Rock Rose Avenue in Northwest Austin on Friday and throwing a party. Entertainment includes a lunchtime Guinness Dance Off, bagpipe performances and other live music. Wristbands start at $10 and are sold at the doors of the pub.

4. Mean Eyed Cat

Mean Eyed Cat on West Fifth Street will feature Irish-themed beer and liquor specials as well as a limited supply of St. Patrick's Day T-shirts available for purchase.

5. Lavaca Street Bar

All three of Lacava Street Bar's locations—downtown, Rock Rose Avenue and South Lamar Boulevard—will be throwing parties in honor of St. Patrick. Think costumes, green beer and cover bands.

6. North By Northwest Restaurant & Brewery

Both of NXNW's locations are throwing St. Patrick's Day parties featuring $3 Red Zeppelin beers, and $4 Irish Stout and Red Ale pints.

7. The Ginger Man

The downtown bar will continue to host its live music Spring Concert Series on Friday with entertainment from 3-10 p.m. and no cover charge.

8. Sherlock's Baker St. Pub

The bar on Research Boulevard will have live music starting at 4 p.m. and is serving up green beer.
