The report detailed a total of 614 homes sold in WilCo during the month of February, with the median price set at $265,000.
In comparison to the rest of the Austin-Round Rock metropolitan area, WilCo's median home price is roughly $20,000 less. The number of homes sold in WilCo in the month of February account for 30 percent of total homes sold in the metropolitan area, which also contains homes in Travis and Hays counties.
The report said it would take a total of 2 months to sell all current housing inventory from the month of February. This is an increase from past months.
A Texas A&M University Real Estate Center study reports that 6.5 months of inventory is indicative of a balanced market, while 2 months shows a stronger seller's market.
In the month of February, homes spent just under two months on the market, and took 34 days on average to close.
In total, WilCo had 1,741 active home listings within the month of February.
