New Elementary School in Fall Creek

Humble ISD officials announced on Thursday that the district purchased 15 acres of land this year for a new elementary school in Fall Creek. Assistant Superintendent of Support Services Roger Brown said the move was necessary because of continued growth in the subdivision and across the region.

"We're adding about a 1,000 students each year," Brown said. "So we're a growing district. To meet that demand and growth, we have gone out and started purchasing property for future school sites."
