Carl Wunsche Sr. High School will mark its 10th anniversary at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, at 900 Wunsche Loop, Spring. Community members, parents, former principals and alumni will celebrate the school’s history and honor the legacy of its namesake Carl Wunsche Sr. The Wunsche family donated 13 acres to Spring ISD in 1937 for a new school, which was the first school constructed after Spring ISD was formed in 1935. In August 2006, the current 273,000-square-foot building opened on the site, replacing the older building and introducing a curriculum focused on career and technical education programs.
The Melt, a California-based restaurant, will open a Vintage Park location on Tuesday, March 7, at 10111 Louetta Road, Ste. 800, Houston.
