There is plenty to do in Pearland and Friendswood this weekend. Here are five events worth adding to your calendar:

Feb. 10  
2nd Annual Charity Bingo Night

Christy’s Wish Foundation, an organization that educates the public on infectious mononucleosis, hosts its second annual event at Friendswood Junior High School. The event features 11 games of bingo with prizes, a raffle and a silent auction. 6 p.m. 1000 Manison Parkway, Friendswood.

Feb. 10
A Night in Tuscany

Pearland New Harvest Christian Fellowship Church hosts its third annual Valentine’s Day couple’s dinner at the church. The menu for the night includes a spaghetti dinner, salad, bread, coffee and dessert. Complimentary child care will be provided. Feb. 11
$10 Pet microchip special

In an effort to keep all pets safe, the Pearland Animal Advocates and Lost and Found Pets will be holding a microchipping event at the Pearland Animal Control and Adoption Center. The chipping is done for $10 and is available for anyone, not just Pearland residents. Feb. 11
Alvin ISD 5k and Family Fun Run

The Alvin ISD Education Foundation hosts the 16th annual Mustang Bayou Turtle Race 5k and family fun run at National Oak Park in Alvin. Pearland Community Advocates Blood Drive

The Gulf Coast Region Blood Center and Pearland Community Advocates host a four-day blood drive at The Blood Center in Pearland. Each person who donates will be entered into a raffle to win a CFL High Sierra Garrett Sport bag. 9223 W. Broadway St., Ste. 119, Pearland. 888-482-5663.
