Huti’s 5 Free-Fire Grill, a casual restaurant in The Woodlands specializing in South American-
inspired cuisine, has added a new drink to its menu.
The $3.95 nitro latte was added to the menu in January and has since become a popular drink for customers.
Owner Chris Osbourne said the coffee drink is a cold brew coffee that is put in a keg and run through a tap system with pure nitrogen gas. Milk is then added, and customers can also choose up to six different flavors to add to the drink, including French vanilla, cocoa, hazelnut and caramel.
For those who do not want the latte, a plain nitro tap cold brew coffee is also available.
“The [nitrogen] gives the coffee a, smooth finish—kind of like a Guinness beer,” Osbourne said. “It’s kind of on the edge of coffee. Lots of people have been sampling and trying it.”
Osbourne said aside from nitro coffee, the eatery also offers local craft beer and wine on the menu as well.
