Completed projects
1. The left lane of Sienna Parkway on the northbound side at Raintree Drive was closed for two weeks so that a left-turn lane could be installed. Timeline: Jan 9-272. Staffordshire Road was rebuilt from Scanlin to Court roads. The road was closed Jan. 9-13. Timeline: Jan 9-25
3. Construction crews performed maintenance and repairs on Austins Place in The Highlands, replacing approximately 275 linear feet of street pavement in both lanes from mid-block going west to Ferry Landing. Timeline: Jan 6-23
4. Construction crews performed repairs and maintenance to The Oval Street that included leveling work and replacing sunken curbs. Timeline: Jan 13-20
Ongoing projects
Intersection of Hwy. 6 and Crown Garden Trail Construction crews will add a right-turn lane at the intersection of Hwy. 6 and Crown Garden Trail for vehicles turning east from Hwy. 6 onto Crown Garden Trail. Timeline: February-summer 2017
University Boulevard North extension (Phase 2) The second phase of the University Boulevard North Extension Project is scheduled to begin this month. Phase 2 involves building a bridge over Oyster Creek that will tie into the existing Stadium Drive behind Constellation Field. The project will involve building a retaining wall, utility installation and relocation, roadway approaches and drainage, as well as other associated work. The project is slated to last one year. Timeline: February-winter 2018
Town Center Boulevard Improvement work will be performed on Town Center’s Pedestrian and Bike accessibility project. One southbound lane and one northbound lane will be closed south of Hwy. 6 until March. Timeline: Jan. 4-late March
