Drivers traveling through Tomball and Magnolia this weekend can expect several lane closures, as announced by the Texas Department of Transportation.

However, the anticipated closure of Spur 149 at FM 1488—which would affect traffic patterns to and from Magnolia High School—has been delayed.

  • Eastbound and westbound lanes from Hwy. 249 to Business 249 are closed daily, excluding weekends, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Tuesday, Jan. 31. The road will be closed nightly from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. through the morning of Tuesday, Jan. 31, as well. One alternate lane is available.
