On May 1, John Dellamarco and Will Shaw took over ownership of Brooklyn Pie Co. on Mesa Drive and changed the name to 3 Train Pizzeria. The menu and recipes remained the same, said Dellamarco, who has worked at the location for nine years.

In 2016 the restaurant began serving pepperoni rolls; calzones; and salad pockets, which are similar to pitas, made from pizza dough and loaded with toppings. The restaurant also began serving wine in 2016. In December, 3 Train began hosting family nights on Tuesdays with free pepperoni rolls for children. Families can also partake in child-friendly movies and games. Additionally, 3 Train Pizzeria offers catering.
What’s next
Shaw said they are considering adding a pizza of the week special to allow the chefs to come up with new creations.
