Austin ISD awards construction contracts Monday night

The Austin ISD board of trustees voted to approve a variety of contracts at a Jan. 23 meeting.

The Austin ISD board of trustees awarded contracts for a variety of construction projects Monday, Jan. 23, queuing the launch of renovations and repairs at schools and facilities districtwide.

Here’s the list of the awarded contracts:

  • Brentwood Elementary School: $869,000 awarded to QA Construction Services Inc. for renovations

  • Burger Activity Center, Austin High School and Fulmore Middle School: $322,600 to Hellas Construction Inc. for repair and replacement of running tracks.

  • Eastside Memorial High School: $3,756,000 awarded to Flynn Construction, Inc. for renovations

  • Mendez Middle School: $738,300 awarded to HCS, Inc. for renovations

  • Norman Elementary School: $650,000 awarded to ASD Consultants Inc. for renovations

  • Palm Elementary School: $392,000 awarded to Royce Construction for renovations

  • Sanchez Elementary School: $1,547,027 to Hot Rod Mechanical, Inc. for HVAC, electrical and plumbing renovations
