Presented by the Cypress Woods Theatre Company, the play follows Amanda Wingfield, a faded, tragic remnant of Southern gentility who lives in poverty in a dingy St. Louis apartment with her son, Tom, and her daughter, Laura. Amanda strives to give meaning and direction to her life and the lives of her children, though her methods are ineffective and irritating. 7 p.m. (Thursday-Saturday), 2 p.m. (Saturday). $10-$15. Jan. 25: Relay for Life Cy-Fair Bowling Tournament
Individuals or teams can join in on the eighth annual event benefitting the American Cancer Society. Awards will be given for the highest team score and highest individual score.
