Baylor Scott & White Health acquired the 106-bed Lakeway Regional Medical Center, 100 Medical Parkway, Lakeway, on Sept. 1. The facility was renamed Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Lakeway. LRMC CEO Philippe Bochaton remained as CEO at the facility following the change in ownership.

The latest

New, permanent signage reflecting the completed transition of the medical center from LRMC to Baylor Scott & White was installed Dec. 22.

What’s next

A ribbon-cutting event celebrating the hospital’s transition is set for Jan. 31 from noon-1:30 p.m.

An open house at the complex is scheduled for Feb. 4 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and will feature demonstrations, including robotic technology, educational talks, hospital tours, free health screenings, children’s activities, and appearances by the STAR Flight helicopter and staff of the Lake Travis Emergency Medical Services.
