What we reported: Sun’s Wholesale Club opened its second store on FM 1960 in August. The store sells restaurant supplies, appliances and international foods.
The latest: “We’ve had a lot of requests to open one on the north side” of Houston, Sun’s Wholesale Club and shopping center owner Vican Sun said. The center now includes 20 tenants with a capacity to hold 26. A Korean buffet is being built, with an estimated opening by summer. Free memberships to the club are available through January.
What’s next: Golden Bank, formerly Texas First National Bank, will be moving in as a tenant, with an estimated opening in the spring.
