Salt Traders offers a wide-variety of seafood-centric options.[/caption]What we reported On Sept. 6, Salt Traders Coastal Cooking, a concept created by the developers of Jack Allen’s Kitchen, opened at 2850 N. I-35, Round Rock. Salt Traders is located near the Round Rock location of Jack Allen’s Kitchen in the former Mesa Rosa building. The menu includes lobster rolls, fish tacos, and raw bar selections in a seaside-inspired setting.
The latest Reservations are available. Art and other touches have been added to the restaurant since opening.
What to Know Salt Traders continues to maintain its theme of seafood-centric, coastal cooking, as the menu has changed some over the first couple months to accommodate the tastes and suggestions of customers. Happy-hour specials are from 3:30-6:30 p.m. On Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m.-3 p.m., patrons may enjoy the lunch specials, $1 Gulf oysters and a Texas-style shrimp boil.
