Precinct 4 Justice of the Peace Lincoln Goodwin will receive the oath of office from Harris County Commissioner Jack Cagle at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6, at the Forum at Cypress Creek Christian Church. This marks the last week of the Klein ISD Visual Art Faculty Exhibition at the Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts, featuring the work of 27 faculty members. The exhibit is in the museum’s Hillery Community Gallery and it will run through Jan. 7. The exhibit “In the Dreamtime,” featuring the work of Australian Aboriginal artists, and “Turning Point,” an exhibit featuring examples of the lathe-based woodturning technique, also runs through Jan. 7 in the Main Gallery The museum's Drop-In Art Cafe monthly art and music event will be held 8:30-9:30 a.m. Jan. 5. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. (Tue.-Sat.).
