Beginning Saturday, East Riverside Drive will be reduced to two westbound lanes from west of Lakeshore Boulevard to Shore District Drive.
The reduced lanes are part of the fourth phase of the
East Riverside Corridor Improvements project, which will create a pedestrian and bicycle-friendly public space. Work will also include the installation of rain gardens to improve water quality.
This traffic pattern is expected to remain in place for approximately five weeks.
Once Phase 4 is complete, the contractor will pave Lakeshore Boulevard and the westbound lanes of East Riverside.
