Local doctor will be honored during park dedication
McKinney's newest park will be dedicated in an official ceremony honoring Dr. Mack Hill. The park, named in his honor, is located at 1849 Reagan Dr., McKinney, near Sonntag Elementary School.

Christmas carolers hit Downtown McKinney and you could be one of them
From 4:30-6:30 p.m. on Saturday, staff from the Roy & Helen Hall Memorial Library will provide lyrics and sheet music for those interested in joining other Christmas carolers in Downtown McKinney. Participants will sing holiday songs while walking through the historic district. Holiday attire is encouraged and all choirs or groups are welcome.

Rotary Club of McKinney presents the Annual Parade of Lights in downtown McKinney
Wanna build a snowman? You might not be able to actually build a snowman but you can see snow at the Christmas Parade of Lights in Downtown McKinney. Elevate Entertainment Dallas will be supplying snow for the annual holiday parade that takes place at 6:30 p.m. Saturday night.
This year's theme is "The Gift of Christmas" and all proceeds from the event will benefit charities supported from the Rotary Foundation and the All-Abilities Playground. The Christmas Parade of Lights is funded in part by McKinney Community Development Corporation. For more info, click
