The district-wide positions will provide support to principals, teachers and students.
“We are always evaluating our operational effectiveness as it relates to best serving students,” KISD Chief Learning Officer Jenny McGown said. “These additional positions will ensure increased collaboration between campus and district leaders as we work together to ensure our shared vision in Klein that every student enters with a promise and exits with a purpose.”
The new directors will work closely with district teaching and learning staff as well as campus leadership to improve student learning and outcomes, McGown said.
The positions were posted on the district’s website in November to begin screening and interviewing applicants. The goal is to have the individuals in place by Jan. 1, district officials said.
