The Salvation Army is known for collecting spare change in red kettles that goes to raise funds to support local services, as well as local Angel Trees, which is used to provide new clothing and toys for children of families in need during the holidays.

Salvation Army is a nonprofit that provides services to anyone in need. Founded in London in 1865, it is now present in 127 countries worldwide,  running charity shops, homeless shelters, and offering disaster relief and humanitarian aid.
