
Wallace, who currently serves as Central Health’s executive vice president and chief operating officer, will replace President and CEO Patricia Young Brown, who said Oct. 5 she would be retiring Dec. 31. Wallace will also serve as CEO.
“There’s a lot of other areas of interest I have and have had for awhile,” Young Brown said in October. “I think it’s time for me to take a little bit of my life back.”
According to a Central Health news release, Wallace has over 30 years of experience in developing and leading integrated health care operations. Wallace joined Central Health in 2005 and has managed finance, human resources, health information technology, eligibility services, and facilities, the release stated.
