A heavy storm cell swept through Central Texas this afternoon, dropping more than an 1 inch of rain throughout Austin and 3-4 inches of water in parts of the Hill Country, according to LCRA data.

Here's a sampling of social media reactions to the storm, which arrived just as many commuters were preparing to hit the road.
