Katy Wine Fest
The 11th annual event hosted by the Cinco Ranch Rotary benefits The Brookwood Community. Houston Cheese Festival
The second stop in a three-city event, The Cheese Fest makes its way to Houston, offering an array of artisanal cheeses and foods from around the world. The event features a grilled cheese competition, in which patrons vote on imaginative recipes to determine the top grilled cheese sandwich. 11th annual iFest Live 2016
The international event celebrates diversity within the community with local organizations, performances, art, food and activities. Dia de los Muertos
Explore the traditions of the Day of the Dead, with full-scale models of a traditional Mexican home and graveyard, a customary ofrenda (memorial altar), storytelling, costumes, ceramic skull painting and sweet treats. Visitors are encouraged to bring and leave mementos of their loved ones on the community altar. Kids Fish Fest
Through a partnership with Bass Pro Shops, the city of Pearland hosts the outreach program for ages 3 to 16. Participants learn about fishing, conservation and respect for the environment. Houston Turkish Festival
The American Turkish Association of Houston hosts the 25th annual event featuring authentic Turkish food, folklore and live music. Activities include a Turkish opera under the stars and folk dance performances.
