Harris County Precinct 4’s third annual Tribute to Veterans will be held Nov. 9 and will include dinner, a presentation of flags by the Atascocita High School Junior ROTC and a concert by the Texas Master Chorale, a mixed choral ensemble of 100 singers. “Harris County boasts more than 180,000 veterans, but most of the time you won’t know who they are,” Precinct 4 Commissioner Jack Cagle said. “It’s easy to forget the sacrifices these brave men and women made to our country. This event is just a small way we can recognize the contributions they make in and out of uniform.” A turkey dinner with apple pie will be held after Cagle's presentation. The event, hosted by Precinct 4’s Senior Adult Program and Fun4Seniors, is free and open to veterans and their spouses.
