Nov. 5 - Veterans parade and ceremony

Nov. 6 - CRY Walk 2016
The Child Rights and You America Inc., or CRY Walk for Child Rights is a platform for individuals to partner with the child rights movement. The nonprofit organization links those who want to help underprivileged children and the child in need, whether the child lives in India or the U.S. 9 a.m. (Bollywood dancing and yoga) 9:30 a.m. (walk). $10 (child and student), $15 (adult), $40 (family of four). Nov. 6 - Cedar Park Five-Miler
The Twin Lakes Family YMCA hosts the 21st annual 5-mile run and children’s 1K. Strollers and leashed pets are invited. The event includes awards, a climbing wall, a children’s carnival and vendor booths. The event is sponsored by Dr. Jeff Swanson of Cedar Park Chiropractic and Acupuncture. 7 a.m. (race-day registration opens), 7:15 a.m. (race packet and chip timer pickup), 7:45 a.m. (warmups and announcements), 8 a.m. (children’s 1K), 8:30 a.m. (5-miler). $12 (children’s 1K preregister), $15 (children’s 1K race day), $35 (5-miler preregister), $40 (5-miler race day). Nov. 12 - Catalyst 5K
This is the last race in a series created by Catalyst Teen Center, which now offers after-hours programs to students and families at Leander High School. Nov. 12 - 15th annual Holiday Bazaar at Cedar Park High School
Benefiting Cedar Park High School’s Project Graduation 2017, the event includes holiday shopping, a silent auction, bake sale and concession stand.
