Parts of I-45 and Hwy. 242 will be closed in Montgomery County this weekend due to construction. Several lane closures are also planned for the Hardy Toll Road in northern Harris County.
The following lane closures have been scheduled, according to officials with the Texas Department of Transportation and the Harris County Toll Road Authority:
- I-45 northbound from Rayford Road to Lake Woodlands Drive will have two alternate lanes closed from 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22 through noon, Sunday, Oct. 23.
- I-45 northbound will have two alternate lanes closed from Cypresswood Drive to Spring Cypress Road from 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21 through 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 22.
- I-45 will have one inside lane closed on the southbound frontage road from Hwy. 242 to St. Lukes Way from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily through Friday, Oct. 21.
- Hwy. 242 will have one alternate lane closed eastbound and westbound from San Jacinto River to FM 1485 in Conroe nightly from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. and daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday, Oct. 21.
- The Hardy Toll Road’s alternating lanes will be closed northbound and southbound from North Hardy Plaza to the Grand Parkway from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday, Oct. 28.
Scheduled closures are subject to change due to inclement weather or other unforeseen events, according to TxDOT officials. A listing of all scheduled I-45 lane closures can be viewed online at
