Guests may bring their dogs to the park. Donations for the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter are encouraged and may include canned or grain-free pet food, bedding and blankets. Oct. 22—Drug Take Back Day
The Cedar Park and Leander Police Departments take part in the national prescription drug take-back day. The event allows citizens to get rid of expired, unused or unwanted medications, and the purpose of the program is to safety destroy medications. No syringes or epi-pens are accepted, but the departments can accept drugs such as prescription medications, over the counter medications and pet medications. 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Cedar Park Police Department, 911 Quest Parkway, Cedar Park. Oct. 21-22 & 28-29 - Ghosts on the Square Tours
Join the Williamson Museum for a downtown Georgetown ghost tour as guides tell the stories of ghosts who have haunted local places for more than 100 years. Call ahead to reserve tickets as tours often sell out.

Oct. 22 - AustOberfest
The event celebrates Central Texas’ German heritage with German-style sausage, beer, a contest stage, bowling and live music. Admission includes unlimited German-style sausage and sides from some of the region’s most notable barbecue figures.
