7 Cy-Fair lane and ramp closures to be aware of this weekend, Oct. 14-16

Frontage road closures

1. Hwy. 290 eastbound frontage road from W. Little York Road to Gessner Road



  • One inside lane will be closed from 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15 to noon Sunday, Oct. 16.


2. Hwy. 6 northbound frontage road at Jackrabbit Road



  • One outside lane will be closed continuously until 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 17.


 

Freeway closures

3. Hwy 290 eastbound from W. Little York Road to Gessner Road



  • Total closure from 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15 to noon Sunday, Oct. 16

  • Drivers can detour to the frontage road at the W. Little York Road exit and re-enter past Gessner Road.


4. Hwy. 290 westbound exit ramp to Fairbanks North Houston Road



  • Total closure continuously until 5 a.m. Monday, Nov. 7

  • Drivers can detour to the Gessner Road exit.


5. Hwy. 290 westbound from Fairbanks North Houston Road to Gessner Road



  • One inside lane will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14 through 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16.


 

Street closures

6. Gessner Road northbound and southbound at Hwy. 290



  • Total closure from 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14 through 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 17

  • Drivers can detour to the frontage road and U-turn.


7. Gessner Road southbound from Cole Creek Drive



  • One outside lane will be closed from 7 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12 through 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21.
